12 Feb 1 Peter 3:15

15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

In our everyday lives, we come across people who believe many different things. It is important for us as Christians to know why we believe what we believe and to tell our stories. This verse is not necessarily meaning you should or have to know every defense tactic or apologetic tactic, but meaning giving an account of the hope from within. People have different motives when they question your faith, and as we remain in Christ we will be ready when those times come. Whether you have a co-worker, family member, or friend who may have asked some questions, allow your life to speak and let your words follow. Do not put so much pressure on yourself to know everything, but understand you are called to give an account amid persecution.
