13 Feb Colossians 2:8

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.

One of the more important things when it comes to being persecuted as a Christian is not letting it get to you. Obviously, it is tough not to take it personal, but we must realize it is about Christ and not about us. In these conversations, it may come a time where you are frustrated, upset, and discouraged. These are the times when you must keep your cool, understanding that God has it under control. This verse more specifically talks about not being taken captive by false doctrines. Be mindful of false narrative, false teachers understanding that in these conversations can result in one questioning one’s beliefs.
