Discipleship for Families

Legacy’s integrated family ministry is inspired by 2 Timothy 2:2 (ESV): “What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” We consider this a mandate to pass on our faith to the next generation.

The Legacy Landmarks bring to life a unified vision for the spiritual growth of each child, student, and young adult, from age 0 to 25. They demonstrate our commitment of every generation in our church to partner with parents and families as they raise children, students, and young adults to become true disciples in a Biblical Community, Living the Word.

Legacy Kids is pleased to provide teaching and shepherding to your children. All programs are age-appropriate, fun, interactive, sensitive to all learning styles, and full of quality biblical teaching. It is our desire to partner with you as they disciple your children, so we provide interactive Take Home Papers, helpful parenting resources, and events that will encourage your family’s spiritual growth.

Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance, so we’ll provide you with a security label when you check in and require it at pickup.

Specific children’s environments include:

  • Nursery (6 weeks to age 2) = Children discover a faith formation by learning that Jesus loves them and the family of God cares for them. Rooms are fully staffed with a caring team of childcare providers, offering a love-filled environment where learning is fun.
  • Preschool (age 3 to 5) = Children are taught to worship in a fun-filled atmosphere during each service. Biblical lessons are reinforced with discussion questions, music and crafts. Seasonal family events are held at special times each year.
  • Elementary (K to 5th grade) = Worship consists of dynamic music and lessons. Classroom teachers present a Bible story each week and lead discussions to help children apply biblical truths. Grade-specific activities, camps and special events are offered throughout the year.

The Legacy Student Ministry exists to support families as they disciple their children, design experiences that foster the spiritual development of 6-12th grade students, and equip lay leaders to minister to students. Our vision is to raise up a generation of students who are Christ-centered difference makers who are living the Word in their schools, communities, and the world.
