21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’

22 “Also the one who had received the two talents came up and said, ‘Master, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have gained two more talents.’ 23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’

God has given us free will, meaning we choose which person we are in this illustration. We can be either of the first two, who turned their gifts into more, or we can be the person who did not use their gifts. There can be many reasons why we choose not to use our gifts. Those reasons could be fear, lack of knowing how along with many other reasons. The rationale is all we are given from God we are called to use for His glory; therefore, we are being disobedient if we choose not to be faithful with our gifts. How are you using your gifts and talents that God has entrusted you with?
