25 Jan 2 Timothy 2:15; 2 Peter 3:15-16
15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
2 Peter 3:15-16
15 and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, 16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.
People are ignorant of the word because they don’t read it. The Bible is the key that opens the door to the revelation of God. It presents the only Savior who is the way to heaven, it provides answers to problems and questions, and it touches every area of human knowledge. Many skeptics try to disregard it and even deny the uniqueness of the Bible, but only to their destruction. Looking at the Bible leads us to the Truth and ultimately to our salvation. The point is, the Bible has made an eternal impact on my life and it will in yours as well. The Bible makes sense and cannot be intellectually dismissed. Maybe we should believe it and live it.
