18 Jul Jeremiah 2:13, John 4:13-14, Revelation 7:17

“For My people have committed two evils:
They have forsaken Me,
The fountain of living waters,

To hew for themselves cisterns,
Broken cisterns
That can hold no water.

John 4:13-14
13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

Revelation 7:17
17 for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

Everything changes when a believer truly understands that Jesus is everything. In Jeremiah 2:13, the prophet calls the people out for forsaking Him; “the spring of living water”. In John 4, Jesus tells the woman that He has water and you will never thirst again. In Revelation we are told that Jesus will lead us to springs of living water. Friends, Jesus is not a cup, a bucket, a lake or even an ocean. Jesus is the well, the spring, the source, and He abides us and we in Him. That changes everything.
