01 Mar Jeremiah 29:11

11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Now you probably will not ever have a sibling sell you off into slavery, or get put in jail because someone tells a lie about you. But you will definitely have your share of bad days. Since we can’t tell the future we can’t ever see them coming or know when they will happen. A friend makes fun of your new clothes, a bully keeps bothering you at school, a teacher thinks you talked during the lesson and keeps you after class, or your team gets beat badly. Parents, give an example of a time when nothing seemed to go right, kids do the same. What did that day teach you? What does God teach us in Jeremiah about His plans for us?
