16 Mar John 8:32-33; 58
32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” 33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, ‘You will become free’?”
58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.”
The same Lord who brought the plagues to Egypt and parted the Red Sea for the Israelites is alive and at work today. He promised us His Spirit would dwell within us and give us power to be His witnesses. Have you painted yourself into the corner of impossibility? You need to read the Bible and see the things God did, then see what the Lord will do for you. He is the God of the past, present, and future. Jesus came into history to live among us, and He gives us strength for our struggles. We can trust all of our affairs to Him. Jesus is the pre-existent Lord, so we have no fear. He is the I Am, and He brings light. He said, I am the bread of life, the good shepherd, the way, the truth, the life, the resurrection, and the true vine. Will you allow Christ to be the Lord of your struggles?
