06 Jul Luke 16:19-21a

19 “Now there was a rich man, and he habitually dressed in purple and fine linen, joyously living in splendor… And a poor man named Lazarus was laid at his gate, covered with sores…longing to be fed with the crumbs…”

This a pretty sad picture! In modern times it could look like the rich man has a huge house, fast car, the best cell phone, TVs and video games. Right outside the gate lies Lazarus with nothing. He was sick and begging for a few crumbs. Do you see that today? Do you know kids at school who have less then you? Families who might be struggling? How can you and your family help them with more than just crumbs?
