02 Mar Luke 6:37-38; John 14:1-6
37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”
41 “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And you know the way where I am going.” 5 Thomas *said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?” 6 Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
People go away when the work begins. Isn’t it about receiving, not giving. You have to wet a line to catch a fish. You’ve got to sow some grain to eat some bread. Someone went away and someone else decided to leave too. Someone said, this Jesus can’t be manipulated. He’s a servant, not an errand boy. So, people leave when they get disappointed with the Lord. Has something hard happened to you and you cry out, “Where are you, Lord”. “Change things God.” “Why did that happen?” But, friends there is no place else to go. He has the words of eternal life. He is the only one around and He is unique and supreme. Go to anyone else and you are without comfort, guidance, forgiveness, and life everlasting.
