02 Mar Matthew 25:22-23

22 And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here, I have made two talents more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.

Ever wanted to quit? I bet Joseph did! Great coat, sold as a slave. Faithful service, accused of a crime he did not commit and went to jail. Helped a man gain his freedom, then forgotten. I am sure Joseph thought it would be way better to just give up and be like everyone else. However, he chose to be faithful to God in spite of the troubles, and in return God set him as the second most powerful man in Egypt! Look at Matthew 25:14-30 and discuss what it would be like to hear God tell you, “well done, good and faithful servant!”
