24 Mar Matthew 5:41-42

41 Whoever forces you to go one mile, go with him two. 42 Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you.

The third word picture is of a disciple of Jesus, who in spite of the unreasonableness of a request, surprises the other person by going twice as far. When asked to do an unreasonable task for another person, do you grudgingly complete the minimal requirements or do you joyfully exceed expectations?
