21 Jun Philippians 4:12; Hebrews 13:5
12 I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.
5 Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,”
The cure for covetousness is for us to allow the Holy Spirit to restore our hearts to their intended balance. It seems that the fix for every broken commandment is for us to surrender to the Lordship of Jesus. If you have been converted, there should be a change your outlook and values. If there is sin in your inner life, you need to be set right within your heart. I would encourage you to be content despite circumstances around you and discontent with the world. Be content with God’s will in Christ Jesus.
