23 Feb Psalm 27:8; Matthew 6:6
You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You,
“Your face, O Lord, I shall seek.”
6 But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
Are you seeking theglory of God?If you seek Him, you will find Him. When we behold the nature of God, we will repent in genuine Godly sorrow. No one will have to tell you to be humble, or that your old nature is like filthy rags. You will have a magnificent obsession; you will want more of Him. Determine to seek God persistently and live the rest of your life in pursuit of His glory. As you touch Him, He will come alive in you. You will only want to lift people up. You will want to dwell in His presence and you will be holy. Seek God for Himself, not for things. Maturity begins when we are not just seeking God when life is hard, but for Himself. Pursue for more than the experience. Seek to abide in Christ, where you are continually aware of His fullness in you.
