12 Jun Romans 3:4
4 May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, as it is written,
“THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS,
AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED.”
People always wonder why God punishes those for breaking His commandments. The answer is simple, He wouldn’t be God if He didn’t, it would go against His nature to do otherwise. Here, Paul referenced when David was confronted by Nathan after he committed adultery and murder. The clear picture here is how God is justified in His judgements because of who He is. Have you found yourself questioning God because of a lie you’ve told or one you’ve lived? We must truly understand the nature of God and who He is to understand why He is justified in His judgements.
